The communication and follow-through was outstanding. They called me several times to check on status and to see if I was happy with the work in progress. When something needed to be fixed, they were the ones who called me to schedule someone to come over. Even after I got busy and forgot to call them, they wanted to get the job done right and would not let it be forgotten.

The painters were a pleasure to have in my home. They even repaired the latch on my shed! The quality of work is excellent as well. I was impressed with the amount of time they spent on prep. The final result showed it. The painters took their work very seriously and took care of my house as if it were their own.

MoonDance Painting just painted two of the 16 units at Cecilia Place Homes ? an affordable housing community for seniors. Both management and residents were delighted with the quality of MoonDance's work, as well as their customer service.

While contracted painters occasionally "cut corners," there was none of that with MoonDance. They worked quickly and efficiently, while doing all the prep work needed to ensure that the job was done right. The crew was constantly supervised by at least one of the owners ? sometimes all three! It is quite obvious that this crew works together frequently ? no one had just been picked up from a street corner. They left the worksite neat at night and spotless at the job's end.

I appreciated that MoonDance took the time to talk to residents to find out whether there was anything particular to their unit that they should know about. Both the owners and the workers were sensitive to all requests. Several newly planted vines were covered along with all the other adjacent foliage, but MoonDance took special care to ensure that nothing damaged these plants. Items on porches belonging to residents were carefully moved ? and nothing was broken.

MoonDance Painting has shown itself to be a principled company focused on quality and customer service. I would be delighted to use them for any future painting needs.

I would like to let you know how pleased I am with the job you and your crew did painting my house. I am especially pleased with all the prep work that was done before the actual painting began. I know how important that is and how poorly a paint job fares without good preparation of the surfaces below the paint. Your crew was efficient, professional, friendly, and careful ? and took the time to make friends with my elderly dog so he was not disturbed or upset by the work being done.

I am also pleased and grateful for your honesty in letting me know of problems with portions of the house which made painting a bad idea at this time. You were careful to explain how moisture, especially in this year's (2005) extended rainy season, and surface problems in some of the fascia would result in a paint job that would not last as long as the rest of the house. I now have the chance to correct these problems before I continue with the next part of the job.

I have already recommended MoonDance to friends who are thinking of painting their homes, and will continue to do so as the opportunity arises.

Thank you for doing such a great job rejuvenating my home. I will be calling you as soon as the weather has dried out a bit more and the fascia has been replaced and is ready for painting.

MoonDance Painting just finished up on my home, doing a fantastic job of cleaning, stripping, and re-watersealing my cedar shingle siding. The south side of my house gets beat up by the sun and was graying after about four years from when we had it installed. MoonDance came in and took the extra time and effort to really make sure that the front of the house (that we had redone) would match the rest of the exterior sides, which were still in good shape. The results were truly above expectation in every way. From the salespeople and owner, down to the guys doing the work, this is a company of great people. Thank you for the fine job your company did in restoring the exterior of my house.

After getting estimates from four companies and calling many references, I chose MoonDance Painting because:

  1. The customer agreement was very clear and detailed.

  2. I really liked the payment schedule of 10% deposit and 90% upon completion.

  1. Sales Manager Chris Pallatroni pointed out things to be done which I didn't recognize, i.e. removing all downspouts and preserving the wood behind them and painting roof flashing to enhance the overall appearance.

  1. Part of my house was relatively inaccessible and required some agility on the part of the workmen, and this posed no problem for this company (but had for other companies).

  1. The estimate for the job seemed fair when compared with other companies' estimates.

The workman who did 95% of the hands-on work (i.e. power washing the cedar shingles and painting trim around windows, front door and roof flashing), Steven Hart, was very polite, knowledgeable, careful, attentive to detail and went the extra mile to see that the job was done right. It was very gratifying that his attitude was that "he wasn't finished until I was completely satisfied." Joe Riley, manager, kept me up to date on the progress of the work and made sure I was pleased with it.

Friends and neighbors have noticed how great my house looks and I have already recommended your company to several friends.
